1)      Free Preposition (Bebas)
Preposotion yang bisa berdiri sendiri.
E.g.  The cat is under the table.
We usually take an exercise in the morning.

2)      Bond Preposition (Terikat)
Preposition yang terikat dengan kata lain, antara lain:
a.    Verb
Look for     : mencari
Look after   : merawat
Agree with  : setuju dengan
Believe in    : percaya pada

b.   Adjective
Afraid of    : takut akan
Similar to    : serupa dengan
Tired of       : lelah dengan
